Fixed Orthodontics

In fixed braces, metal or ceramic brackets are attached to the front of the teeth and orthodontic wires pass through them. These brackets are available in different shapes and sizes based on their manufacturing company. The way of using these brackets is the only common aspect of its types and all brackets have edges called wings. Metal or plastic bands are placed around these edges to keep the orthodontic wire in place. In fact, the orthodontic wire is the main factor in tooth movement, and the bracket is considered a kind of support for each tooth. As the treatment progresses, the orthodontic wires are changed so that the teeth can move better.
