As the name of this treatment method suggests, they can be removed from the mouth for eating, brushing and flossing. Removable orthodontics is only part of the patient’s orthodontic treatment, which may be used in combination with fixed orthodontics or before the start of fixed orthodontics (sometimes several years before).
