Zirconia

Nowadays, all-ceramic crowns with zirconia structure are preferred because of their favorable beauty, compatibility with living tissue, durability and high strength.
It has widely entered the field of dentistry. Restoration carved from blank zirconia during the sintering process at temperature
1450 degrees Celsius, it will shrink 20-25% and reach the actual size.
Zirconia is very suitable for teeth that have post-metal or severe discoloration, and this material resists after sintering.
It achieves a high bending strength of about 1200 MPa.
Zirkonia has different types, including Translucent Zirconia, Super Translucent Zirconia, and Multicolor Zirconia.
Due to its greater transparency than the zirconia blank, the Translucent Sub-conia blank is suitable for posterior teeth and low-cut teeth, and the desired beauty and color can be achieved without the need for powdering. This material has a resistance equal to 1200 MPa and can be used for long bridges.
This blank has great transparency and is also suitable for anterior, posterior, inlay and inlay borders. Due to its resistance of about 700 MPa, it is possible to build long bridges with only one pontic between two abutments.
Multicolor blanks are actually a multi-layered zirconia material in several color layers, each of which has specific color characteristics for each individual. This preserves the natural structure of the tooth.
